Elaine and "Little Elaine"

Elaine has an American Girl doll, that we got as a hand-me-down. Elaine named it "Little Elaine" since they both have bangs. I sewed some dresses for little elaine tonight, so the doll wouldn't be naked any more.

Not much going on.

I'm kinda glad summer is around the corner. The assistant store manager will begin her summer class schedule instead of her schedule for the current UNT semester. This Summer, Monday-Thursday she can ONLY work nights, so I may be home at least 4 nights straight each week. I'll know for sure in a couple short weeks. The good news is that this last week or so, the store has been unusually busy.

Rick is in less pain now that they are doing both Chemo and Radiation. His scan today was re-scheduled, so we're all eager to see if the cancer is really doing any better. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for your prayers.

Allergies are kicking my butt. Our front porch has been coated by yellow pollen for 2 or 3 weeks now. It looks like yellow chalk. After it rains, the porch catches a fresh coat of pollen. When the allergies hit me hard, I wrap myself in a blanket and become a couch zombie watching the Biography channel until I have to leave for work.

Thanks to some Nightquill, I slept through church this last Sunday. But later that day, we made it to Elaine's dress alteration fitting for the wedding. Our kids are gonna be ring bearers in their uncle's wedding in like 3 weeks.
We got Allan's Tuxedo a couple weeks back. It looks so cute on him. :) The costume store is letting me borrow petticoats for Elaine and the other girls. So overall the kids' outfits are shaping up. I think I just have to find Allan's dark socks & dress shoes (in a rubbermaid bin in the shed??) and purchase some dressy sandals for Elaine.
From Big Allan's recent wedding, we know Jimmy's black suit still fits. All we had to do for Jimmy was get him a new white dress shirt and I still need to give him a haircut. I'm letting Allan's hair grow out right now. The hair on top is long enough that it will lay flat instead of spike straight up. A few days before the wedding I'll trim up the sides of his hair, so it looks clean-cut.

Oh! I turned 27 this month. Jimmy made my favorite foods, Buffalo Wings and Breadcrumb-Stuffed Artichokes.

Allan's contribution.

Resurrection (Easter) Sunday

our Family

After church, Jimmy and the kids dyed eggs at home.
