guys after icecream, last week 

a friend of the Brank Family, Mary, visited from NY. She took us out for a Cajun dinner and then for icecream. Elaine loved Mary!!  

My mom sent me some photos of my brother. This is him doing his Navy reserves training. They have him working on Electrical stuff up on a pole while they shoot down on the ground, to see if he can get his job done with distractions underfoot. He goes to Iraq in January.

good old-fashioned scrapbooking. :) I like mixing the different alphabet stamps for the title and names.

this LO is about some of my parents visiting in the hospital waiting room with the kids. The bunny is just a stamped image that I chalked in.  

When my mom was in town, we went to Big Lots. I found these scrapbooking time-saving kits. I bought a couple kits then (good price!) and Jim let me pick up a couple more early last week. I started using the kits to scrapbook the pictures from when I was in the hospital. Since I wasn't there when these pictures were taken, so I was troubled on how to scrapbook the photos. The kits are making the task go by quicker. :) 

the boy falls asleep in the wierdest places. This time he rolled off the bed in his sleep without waking up. It's not the first time.

She plucked tomatoes from our yard and put them in her new wheel barrow from Grandma Robin

Jim and Elaine made cookies today (wednesday). He had the day off from work. 

Elaine is holding a Dora toy, from Berta, that she carried around and talked to most of the weekend. 

I still think Elaine looks a LOT like my mom, who visited over this last weekend. Friday to Sunday.
