Elaine was babysitting our snails while Jimmy cleaned their tank. About a week or so after this picture our beta fish, Betty, died. We saw it coming. His fins were getting smaller, like shriveling up. His color was becoming more pale and he couldn't control the direction he was swimming well anymore. Neither kid cried over the fish. The snails seem perfectly content. We put algae wafers in their tank, so they still have something to eat (without a fish there to produce waist). |
