Artania, Fishing & Swimming

Rick gave me complimentary tickets to the show both his sons are working on in Dallas. We decided to make the show a little bit of a Girl's Day, since we were not sure how well Allan would sit through a performance. My family drove out to Dave & Katy's and then the ladies all left for Dallas. We were early for the performance, so Katy took us to some historic places in Dallas. We briefly saw where JFK was shot and we saw Thanks-Giving Square, which is a museum supporting secular and non-secular attitudes of giving thanks. "Gratitude is our Attitude".

Inside the Chapel at Thanks-Giving Square:
We went to Artania, the #1 rated show in Russia and Europe. It's an "Equestrian Circus Extravaganza", which combined acrobats and trained horses. Elaine liked the show. During the second Act, she said that she might be getting bored, but she likes it. Then she started saying "Wow!", so I think the act got her attention again.

Lainey after the acrobat show:

After Artania, we met the boys at Dave & Katy's and went fishing in the catch & release pond.

Allan kept repeating, that he's good at fishing. Some of his casts were lead balloons, but others were spot-on.

Next we all went to the pool. Katy did her first swimming lesson with Lainey. Allan wont listen to instruction... he's too excited by the water. He played in a floaty.
