Good news, bad news

Good news: The church covered our lot rent on the first. And our pastor needs Jim to do lots of computer networking/repair work starting tomorrow. So we're hoping between the computer work and HOPEFULLY selling the Taurus soon, we can cover our own Trailer rent. Jim called a bunch of those "we buy any car" places, and the ones that are interested say they will call back for directions when they can come to look at the Taurus. But it's been like 4 days since we talked to them.

Bad news: ALLAN BROKE HIS DADDY'S GLASSES!
I woke up this morning when I heard Allan pounding on Jim's computer's keyboard. The computer wasn't logged in though, so all he was doing is trying to type in a password. So no programs were erased or anything. Then I found Jim's glasses frames next to the computer and the other part of his glasses on the coffee table.

Allan is quite the climber and got a hold of them and twisted off one of the sides of the glasses (the part that rests on an ear). The metal is broken on the twisted off part.
Game plan:
*tape it for now, so he can drive (etc)
*buy cheap reading glasses that are the same pewter color and swap out the sides with Jim's prescription frames. This should buy some time.
*Eventually get Jim a new pair of glasses anyways because he says his prescription isn't strong enough. (maybe find one of those 'Buy one pair of glasses and get the second pair free' deals. That way we could each get glasses.
