This hanging sculpture was inspired by marionettes. I call her the 'abnormal housewife' because she has no head (thoughts, instincts) and when one of her strings broke, she is saving the vacuum from falling instead of saving herself.
She is totally a ploy for extra credit. We were supposed to make those towers that can support weight, but I wanted to have something to add that gives the tower a purpose when it's not holding a weight. She hangs in my popsicle stick tower, looking like she's falling and trapped.
