It rained this morning, very hard. Our power blinked around 4am... we can tell because that's how far off the clocks were when we woke up too late for Elaine to go to school. I think it's the third time she has missed in 5 weeks. Tomorrow is picture day at her elementary. I doubt we'll order pictures, but this will be her picture in the yearbook. So we are still dressing her up for school. She'll wear this green and pink dress and tights.
I'm recording over some of my old video tapes with kids shows from PBS, so Elaine will have something different on hand to watch when all the Halloween programming is on TV this month.

Go ahead and get the pictures, and we will send you money for them. We would like a picture of her each stage of her school years.
